Disclosures
Last updated January 15, 2026
Collected in one place: what this product claims, what it deliberately does not, and why. These are the same disclosures shown in the product itself.
What we are
Inside The Credit AI is a consumer credit intelligence, monitoring and optimization platform. We read credit data, compute analysis from it, and present recommendations about the factors you can control.
What we are not
We are not a credit repair organization. We do not repair credit, we do not remove information from credit reports, and we do not submit disputes on your behalf.
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your own credit reports at no cost, directly with the credit bureaus. Nothing a credit repair organization can do is something you cannot do yourself for free.
Credit scores
Credit scores shown in this product are reported by the credit bureaus and scoring model providers. Inside The Credit AI does not produce credit scores.
Scores vary by bureau, by scoring model, and by when they were pulled. The score a lender uses may be from a different model than the one shown to you, and may be produced for a specific industry — auto lending and mortgage lending commonly use their own models.
The CreditOps Health Score
The CreditOps Health Score is our own measure of the credit factors you can control, scored 0–100 across eight weighted components.
It is not a FICO score, a VantageScore, a credit bureau score, or a lender underwriting score, and no lender uses it. It exists so you can see which factors are strong and which are worth your attention. The formula is documented and configurable.
Recommendations and estimates
Recommendations are informational estimates based on the data available to us, computed under assumptions that are stated alongside every result. They are not guarantees of future credit-score changes or lending outcomes.
Common assumptions worth knowing:
- That a payment posts before the statement closing date shown — transfers can take one to three business days.
- That the issuer reports the statement balance, which is the most common practice but is not universal.
- That credit limits and balances do not change between the computation and the reporting date.
- That reporting dates marked “estimated” may differ from what your issuer actually does.
Scenario simulations
Scenario results show how your utilization and account mechanics would change under the assumptions listed. Inside The Credit AI does not predict credit scores or lending decisions. Scoring models weigh many factors this product cannot see.
Artificial intelligence
Inside The Credit AI uses artificial intelligence to explain data and recommendations. Important calculations are performed by deterministic software services, not by the AI.
The AI Advisor reads your own data through a secured, audited tool layer. It cannot compute a financial figure, take any action on your behalf, move money, file a dispute, or change anything on a credit report.
Bureau differences
Differences between credit bureaus are common and are not automatically errors. Creditors choose which bureaus they report to and are not required to report to all three, and those that do rarely report on the same day.
Where we find a difference, we describe it as a possible discrepancy and show the benign explanations that could account for it. We never characterise information as inaccurate on your behalf.
Disputes and negative information
Inside The Credit AI does not guarantee removal of accurate information from your credit reports. Accurate negative information generally remains on a credit report for a defined period set by law and cannot be removed on request by anyone.
We do not encourage disputing information you believe to be accurate. Disputing accurate information wastes your time, and repeated frivolous disputes may be dismissed by the bureaus.
Payments
Inside The Credit AI does not move money. There is no payment mechanism in the platform. When we recommend a payment, you make it with your own bank or card issuer.
Credit data retrieval
Retrieving your own credit report is a soft inquiry and does not affect your credit scores. Where a retrieval carries a cost, we disclose it and obtain your explicit approval first.
Educational content
Content in our Learn section is general education, not advice about your specific situation. See our editorial policy for how it is written and reviewed.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
We do not currently have affiliate relationships, referral arrangements or advertising partnerships, and we do not receive compensation for recommending any financial product. If that ever changes, this section will say so specifically and the relationship will be disclosed at the point it is relevant — not only here.
